Products - Mid Grade Polyurethane Track Pads

BLS Enterprises, Inc., of Itasca, Illinois, USA, has developed and brought to market a new type of protective track pad, which protects delicate asphalt surfaces from steel track damage. These new pads, called polyurethane BLS POLY-MG® track pads, are produced especially for light weight asphalt pavers, such as those made by Barber-Greene, Caterpillar, Gilcrest, Mauldin, Lee-Boy, and others.

These medium grade polyurethane track pads combine the best qualities of polyurethane and rubber to provide you with a durable track pad that offers the increased traction and surface protection you expect from BLS Enterprises Inc. After experimenting with several materials and production methods, BLS introduced its BLS POLY-MG® pads in 1999.

Machine owners who had previously used rubber track pads to protect working surfaces and had found that the rubber began to chunk or shred off of the steel grousers after only one season, found our BLS POLY-MG® track pads to be a great improvement. BLS POLY-MG® track pads wear more like polyurethane TUFPADS^® track pads, offering the machine owner a longer operational lifetime than rubber track pads. These medium grade polyurethane pads are available only through BLS Enterprises, at a cost less than premium polyurethane TUFPADS^® track pads.

BLS POLY-MG® polyurethane can also be used to make stabilizer pads for rubber tire backhoes.
